PRI-CDRM held a press briefing on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in PRI Conference Room. The briefing topic was “IMF and Bangladesh”. Recently an IMF mission team has concluded their visit to Bangladesh and through a press release they have informed that they have reached staff-level agreement on the policies needed to complete the first review of the Fund-supported program. In light of that , PRI presented their thoughts and analysis regarding the upcoming disbursement of IMF loan instalments and shared their perspectives on the recent macroeconomic challenges and their implications for the economy.
