Mr. Syed Md. Nazim is the General Manager of the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh (PRI). His major activities involve managing logistics, HR, IT, overseeing accounts, and event management. Mr. Nazim is vastly experienced in Human Resource Management and Logistics support as he has been managing and coordinating PRI’s events (on average 25 per year) for more than 10 years. The events managed by him include roundtable dialogues, seminars, dissemination workshops, Training Programmes, etc. He is adept at communicating with the project team and the stakeholders which include foreign delegates, donor organizations, banks and auditors. Mr. Nazim conducts venue reservations and other logistical requirements for organising events, including organising accommodations, booking of transportation (including flights), and airport transfers. Mr. Nazim is an expert user of the Microsoft Office packages and proficient in IT handling. Prior to joining PRI, he worked for Democracywatch and Standard Chartered Bank and coordinated various training courses and events.
